Please join us for the next Member Orientation Session. This event is an opportunity for community members to learn about PhillyCAM’s history, mission, programs and services.
If you have questions about how to produce a show to cablecast on Comcast channels 66/966 and Verizon Fios 29/30 or would like to find out more about upcoming production workshops, this session is the place to be!
The orientation is FREE, open to the public and required if you plan to become a community producer who is certified to check out PhillyCAM equipment. Individuals interested in becoming certified can do so by taking a training workshop or testing out. For more information about the certification process, please send an email to phillycam membership and visit the “workshops” section of the website.
Attending an orientation session is an important and necessary first step to getting involved at PhillyCAM. Any individual or group that wishes to volunteer, submit content to run on our channels, take classes and become certified to check out our equipment, and utilize our production space for PhillyCAM related projects MUST attend an orientation.
Attending an orientation is FREE; however, you must create an PhillyCAM User Account in order to log in and sign up. Doing this first will help streamline the class registration process for all people who want to take classes.
Please contact the Membership & Outreach Director if you have further questions about orientation. You may also contact the Director of Education & Production if you have questions about classes and the certification process.
