AFFRM THYSELF - A Look Into the African American Film Festival Releasing Movement with Ava DuVernay and Emayatzi Corinealdi

You are invited to participate in a special, exclusive LIVE STREAMING EVENT at PhillyCAM Studios in Center City.
AFFRM THYSELF! is a special, one hour look into the AFRICAN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL RELEASING MOVEMENT.

Founded just over a year ago by filmmaker AVA DUVERNAY, it is responsible for bringing to mutiplexes the independently produced features I WILL FOLLOW (DuVernay’s debut feature), KINYARWANDA and RESTLESS CITY. AFFRM’s latest release is the Sundance Award winning MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, about a bright medical student (played by newcomer EMAYATZI CORINEALDI), who sets aside her dreams when her husband is incarcerated.

Event begins promptly at 2pm and will last approximately one hour. Please arrive before 1:35pm for seating.
