Never Stand Still, Dancing at Jacob's Pillow
Winner of Best Documentary at both the San Francisco Dance Film Festival and the Dance Camera West Festival in Los Angeles, Never Stand Still features performance footage and candid conversations with ballerina Suzanne Farrell, Tony Award-winner Bill Irwin, dancer Rasta Thomas, former Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo star Frederic Franklin, Mark Morris and Merce Cunningham, in one of his last interviews, describing why dance "is not for the timid." Directed by Ron Honsa and narrated by Bill T. Jones, Never Stand Still also includes interviews with Paul Taylor, Judith Jamison, Joanna Haigood, Chunky Move , Shantala Shivalingappa and Stockholm 59° North.
