Day 2

The inaugural Philly TV Festival is happening on Friday and Saturday, Nov.14 and Nov.15, 2014 at PhillyCAM Studios. The festival will showcase and celebrate the medium of short form film work and web media through panels, workshops, and presentations.

Friday November 14th 2014

    10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Registration/Check-in

    11:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Councilman Curtis Jones Opens Festival

    12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – “Digital Media” (TBA)

    1:00 PM – 1:45 PM – “TV/Music Infused” by Noella Charles

    2:00 PM – 2:45 PM – “State of Television” by Kenson Noel

    3:00 PM – 3:45 PM – “Why is Public Access Important?” by Tisha Crippen

    3:45 PM – 4:15 PM – REFRESHMENTS

    4:30 PM – 5:45 PM – “Rage Against The Rachet” by Grammy Award Winner Carvin Haggins

    6:00 PM – 6:45 PM – “Short Form Filming” by Louis Massiah

    7:00 PM – 8:30 PM – Closing remarks, intro to following day, then meet & greet.

    12:00 PM – 12:45 PM – “Funding and Grant Research” by Chanta Barrett

    1:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Viewing of Philly TV Festival Submissions

    2:30 PM – 3:30 PM REFRESHMENTS

    3:45 PM – 5:00 PM “Celebrity Glam Squad Panel” moderated by Charles Gregory

    5:15 PM – 6:00 PM Awards ceremony and closing address
