Philly Tech Week Innovation Crawl is on the move!

This deconstructed kickoff will give you the chance to visit a dozen popular tech startups and innovative spaces in one night. See all the Innovation that Philadelphia's tech scene has to offer. One stop at a time. This is organized by Technical.ly/Philly

PhillyCAM Stop

The first floor of PhillyCAM will be devoted live demo Augmented and Virtual Reality, and gaming.

On the second floor,our new Green Screen Studio will be open for touring. The creative opportunities green screen technology offer mediamakers is limitless. Come be inspired. Tours begin at 630 pm.

Don't miss the oppportunity to check out the capabilities of PhillyCAM and play with the best local AR/VR teams in the city!

Food provided by Verts Mediterranean Grill and beverages by QC Mercantile and Sparkling Ice on a first come first serve basis.


Bowstring Studios: STORY FIRST
 

  1. Fatscreen TV to display work and tablets for people to interact with the projects, as well as multiple VR goggles and headsets. Guests will be able to experience 360-degree scenic tours in national parks, urban adventures, motorcycle rides, deep-sea diving, and more!

The Greater Philadelphia Virtual and Augmented Reality Group

  1. GPVAR will be showcasing an application demonstrating the huge potential of Virtual Reality within the architectural visualization industry. Rather than looking at 2D plans or 3D renderings, VR affords individuals immersive explorations of buildings before they are even constructed or completely designed.

VRPHL

  1. The leaders of VRPHL, Eli Gorman and Tyler Roach, will be showing how Philadelphia is welcoming the VR industry with 360 degrees of tourism, experimenting with new art mediums, and working on a real-time tennis simulation to practice and change the way games are played. 

VeeR Goggles - Make Believers

  1. Veer Goggles will be bringing three or four VR headsets with examples of tourism and non-profit experiences, as well as providing URL's for patrons to view our work on their smartphones in AR.

Milkroom Studios

  1. Milkroom Studios will be demo’ing the Hot Wheels Tango game as well as Oculus Medium sculpting and Tilt Brush painting.
