WPPM Station Manager Taking on New Challenges

Vanessa Maria Graber, WPPM's first Station Manager, will be leaving her position to become the Manager of Free Press' New Jersey News Voices. Vanessa has been part of the PhillyCAM family long before WPPM even existed and her impact will continue to surge through our work long after she's gone. Philadelphia's community radio scene is all the more powerful as a result of her leadership. We all can attest to the passion Vanessa brings to anything she takes on. We are excited to see how she will lead these efforts to make journalists and news outlets more responsive and reflective of the communities they serve.
Her last day as the WPPM Station Manager will be on Friday, July 10th. She will continue to support Allison Durham, WPPM’s Production and Programming Coordinator, and the rest of us during this transition. She intends to still play an active role in WPPM and PhillyCAM in general. Stay tuned for plans on how we can celebrate Vanessa for all she has contributed to PhillyCAM and WPPM and wish her all the luck in this new opportunity.
