January Member of the Month, Hear Us Out

PhillyCAM’s youth radio show “Hear Us Out” launched in February of 2019 and since then our producers have been putting their truths forward on the airwaves. We believe youth should be at the forefront of news and media making always, but especially while we navigated the Elections of 2020 and continue to process the health and racial pandemic gripping our communities.

Our producers believe that words have power and have spent the last few months creating content that not only develops their leadership and journalism skills but gives audiences an insight into what life is like for them during the pandemic, between juggling school, work, and their own mental health our producers have supported our Radio and TV station with moments of joy, resistance and community learning.
