"A lifelong Philadelphian and award-winning broadcast journalist, I bring over 15 years of experience in content creation, content strategy, cross-platform publishing, and organizational leadership to my work at the intersection of media, community, and civic life.

A 2025 Sulzberger Executive Leadership Fellow at Columbia Journalism School, I am the visionary behind six public television franchises—two of which earned Emmy nominations—and have spent five-plus years leading nonprofit programs centered on cultivating media ecosystems that elevate community voice, champion pluralism as a civic principle, and drive meaningful community impact. I bring to the PhillyCAM Board deep expertise in content strategy, AI-augmented thinking, and narrative change—using media as a tool to challenge harmful narratives and elevate underrepresented voices. Strong relationships across City Hall, the District Attorney's office, and the State Legislature position me to serve as both a strategic leader and civic connector for PhillyCAM. Above all, I am a mentor, an advocate for universal media access, and a believer in public media's power to transform communities. I am honored to continue serving PhillyCAM and committed to growing its reach, deepening its impact, and fulfilling its promise as Philadelphia's public media home."

"As a Black man raised in Point Breeze and now rooted in East Passyunk, I bring a distinctly Philadelphia perspective to this work—one shaped by neighborhood, culture, and lived experience. Growing up in a socially conservative, single-mother Christian household instilled in me a deep respect for faith, resilience, and community—values that continue to inform my leadership and my belief in the dignity of every voice. Working across Philadelphia and New York, I bring a cross-city lens to media access and community storytelling, with a particular understanding of what independent and grassroots creators need to thrive. I know firsthand how institutions can either fortify or frustrate community-based content providers—and I'm committed to ensuring PhillyCam remains the former. Above all, I am deeply and unapologetically pluralistic. I believe it is our civic and patriotic duty to see the humanity in one another—especially in those with whom we disagree. This conviction isn't abstract; it shapes how I lead, how I listen, and how I build. I bring to this board not just diversity of background, but diversity of perspective—and a genuine commitment to ensuring PhillyCam reflects the full breadth of Philadelphia's communities."
