At this year’s Annual Member Meeting, we invited 5 members to pitch their ideas and ask for support. If you missed the event or are looking for ways to connect with those members, here is a helpful recap!

Vivienne Crawford - Conversations Across Time
Who? Vivienne Crawford is a longtime member and lover of history. Producer and host of her show, Conversations Across Tme, Vivienne is eager to find support as her previous crew have moved on to different productions.
What? Conversations Across Time features host Vivienne Crawford moderates lively conversation amongst actors portraying historical personalities discussing current events.

How can you support Conversations Across Time? Crawford is looking for a production crew (express studio) as well as someone who could support her in turning the television program into a podcast to be more widely distributed.

Matt Kornfeld - Ultimate Mixtape
Who? Matt Kornfeld is a newer radio producer who's launched his show, Ultimate Mixtape. He has a strong love for local music and is always looking for ways to support artists in the city. He attends live performances and brings live performers to our local studio.
What? Ultimate Mixtape is a freeform collage of any possible recordings, designed to entertain and inspire audiences of every kind. Each episode presents an eclectic blend of musical genres (folk, blues, jazz, rock of all varieties, hip-hop and more) tied by a common theme: artistic expression outside of commercialism, revealing the meaning behind the music, nostalgia and associated stories. How can you support Ultimate Mixtape? Kornfeld is looking for help recording music performances in the field (Tascam, Zoom, other) as well as in the studios at PhillyCAM. He also needs assistance with social media promotion, archiving recordings and capturing video in studio.

Erick Barragan - Cinepamina
Who? Erick Barragan is an active member who's helped produce content for our spanish-language programs at PhillyCAM, including our monthly news program, Atrevete. He has started working on his own program, Cinepamina and is always eager to assist other producers with his production experience.
What? Cinepamina is a cinematic and geek journey through Philly and the World. Highlighting the film and entertainment scene in Philly, from its festivals, filmmakers, conventions, organizations that support film and the local culture that is made up of people from all over the world.

How can you support Cinepamina? Barragan is looking for support using the virtual studio, Streamyard and anyone with in-studio production experience. He is also looking for help covering certain events in the Philadelphia Area like Fan Expo and some horror shows.

Allison Durham - People Powered Sounds
Who? WPPM producers, with the support of PhillyCAM staff launched a TV & Radio program to highlight local musicians in the city. WPPM producers are invited to bring in local bands and interview them on what community media means to them.
What? People Powered Sounds is a simulcast showcase celebrating our local music scenes, featuring live in-studio performances from community-focused artists, curated by PhillyCAM's WPPM 106.5 FM programmers and staff. Wednesdays at 12pm on PhillyCAM TV and WPPM 106.5 FM!

How can you support People Powered Sounds? We are looking for support from audio engineers in the Main Studio who have experience with live band mixing. Also, we are looking for PA support (running cables, preparing set, runner), and camera experience (at least A7 certified.)

Nicole Ayers - The Madlab Post
Who? Longtime member, Nicole Ayers, has been producing a show about filmmaking and is looking for support to continue the program.
What? The Madlab Post is world news for the arts & culture fan with an appreciation of short films and the people who make them. Highlighting little known shorts on the film festival circuit.

How can you support The Madlab Post? Ayers is looking for a reliable editor for the program. She collects the visuals and is also happy to invite crew with her to festivals and on set.
