Stop Motion Animation

This workshop will be offered virtually. Participants will be introduced to the world of stop motion animation. Using a smart phone or tablet, participants will bring objects to life and imbue them with new meaning. Stop motion is a simple technique which can bring new life to your videos, allow you to explore creative storytelling approaches and experiment with materials you have at home.  Students will learn how to plan, produce and edit a short video as part of the workshop. Participants will learn more advanced techniques for using different materials, and working with text and audio.  Tripods will be provided by PhillyCAM if needed.  Participants will be asked to download a free or low cost animation app.
