CMDrupal Meet Up, Philadelphia August 9, 2014

PhillyCAM, 699 Ranstead Street
Free
RSVP required

CMDrupal is a collaborative effort to provide a free, open source suite of tools built upon Drupal and CiviCRM to manage the internal and external workflows of community based media organizations. Organized into "Starter Kits" these web based content management systems track equipment and space reservations, maintain member databases, help people connect and volunteer, showcase video content and integrate meta data and files with playback servers.

The morning session will include an overview of CMDrupal followed by a show n’ tell. Representatives from Channel Austin, Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Easton Community TV, RETN and PhillyCAM will demo various aspects of their cm_drupal websites.

The afternoon will include open discussion around shared principles and how as a collaborative community we can continue to support development of the toolkits and each other in the expansion of this work.

This 4-hour session is open to anyone from a community media center interested in learning more about how to begin using the cm_drupal starter kits.
