Anis Taylor - December Member Of The Month

Two years ago, I met a Producer named Nakia Dillard who pointed me towards PhillyCAM. Since that day I walked through PhillyCAM's door I haven't left.

My name is Anis Taylor, I am a Producer and Co-Founder of Higher Than 7 Productions.

Higher Than 7 Productions, is an entertainment production company focused on creating original and compelling music, movies, videos, and events. Our goal is to develop quality content, while building quality platforms to spread our message.

After completing my first full album production titled, "Me and My Musika" by Udini La Voz on Higher Than 7 Records. My partners Dappolis, Udini La Voz, and I decided to shoot our own Music Videos. After we completed our first video Big Ups, I knew that I had found my calling. That was in 2009. Since then I have directed and produced a number of Music Videos, Short Films, Web Series, Commercials, and Documentaries, all while using my musical composition as the score for each project.

My evolution as a producer has been an awesome ride. I started as a DJ, then became a music producer, director, screenwriter, and now a TV producer. Being able to handle each area of production has allowed me to develop my own creative style.

My favorite thing about being a producer, is getting to work with so many cool people. I love people, and I love seeing people win. PhillyCAM allows me to meet and work with so many creative, passionate, and energetic people. I am so grateful to be a member of such a fantastic community in PhillyCAM, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. It's going to be BIG!!
