This class will provide a broad overview of approaches and techniques for recording audio, for use with video, radio or podcast. Students will learn how to get started with field production audio recorders, microphones for interviewing, voiceover work, event documentation and more. Students will also learn the basics of audio editing with Hindenburg. All students will create a 2 minute audio story as part of the certification.
4 Additional lab hours required.
Prerequisites: To register for the class, you must be a current PhillyCAM member and have attended a Television and Video Orientation, TV Community Media Workshop or WPPM PhillyCAM Radio Orientation.
Pay online or in-person with a credit or debit card. You will need to register in-person if you are paying by cash, check or money order.
No Refunds will be given for cancellations made later than 5 business days prior to the start date of the workshop.
