Tiffany Bacon - March Member of the Month

Tiffany Bacon began her career in radio in 1990 while attending Temple University. The university radio station WRTI sparked a life-long love for radio and broadcasting in general. She spent a few years at B101, more than a decade at Power 99FM and now she hosts a Sunday afternoon program on 100.3 WRNB and a Saturday morning talk show on Praise 103.9FM.

Outside of her dedication to the field of broadcasting, Ms. Bacon is the creator of the youth focused talk show The Hype airing on Philly CAM Thursday nights at 6pm. She is also a featured actress in three theater productions this spring (For Colored Girls, Ruined and Uncle Tom’s Cabin). Tiffany is also a certified HIV Educator who works with a STD/HIV prevention education project for African American teen girls (SIHLE).

Tiffany Bacon hopes to continue to share her gifts and knowledge while continuing to learn about herself through discovering the world.

The Hype is a talk show for, by and about young women airing Thursday nights at 6pm on phillyCAM.
