PhillyCAM is excited to announce that WPPM- LP is officially broadcasting on the airwaves on 106.5 FM!  We are sending a signal from our center city studio to the transmitter and antenna on north 4th street, and if you are in our coverage area, you can hear the broadcast!!  

On Friday after installing our Emergency Alert System and testing the transmitter, we completed our FCC paperwork to file for WPPM's radio license. In the next coming weeks, we will be testing our equipment and making adjustments to the sound.  A playlist of PhillyCAM content and nationally syndicated radio shows is currently playing as construction is underway at our radio studio.

If you'd like to volunteer to help make playlists or download content, hit us up!  We'd also love to know how far the signal reaches.  Tune into 106.5 FM and complete this survey about the reception and let us know how the reception sounds from your radio. You will get a commemorative postcard as a thank you. 

This was a huge project over the course of many years, and we would like to thank all the staff, volunteers, board members, and engineers who worked with us on the build out of the transmitter site!  We are still in the testing phase, but so far, we are off to a good start. Stay tuned for our official public launch in September and the opening of our main radio studio later on this month.
