INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONVERTING YOUR MASTER FILE TO CUSTOM PHILLYCAM .m2t FOR TV:
Before you begin, download the PhillyCAM custom .m2t preset for Adobe from HERE.
STEP 1: Open Adobe Media Encoder.
The icon looks like this
STEP 2: Load your custom .m2t, "TelVue Adobe Premiere Preset 1080 HD.epr" preset by double clicking on the Import Button in your Preset Browser.
UNDER USER PRESETS & GROUPS YOU SHOULD NOW SEE THE TELVUE ADOBE PREMIERE PRESET.
STEP 3: In your Que Panel click on the add content button to add you video project for conversion.
YOU SHOULD NOW SEE YOUR ORIGINAL VIDEO IN THE QUE PANEL.
STEP 4: Under Format click on the setting to reveal the Format Menu and select H.264 Blu-ray.
STEP 5: Under Preset click on the setting to reveal the TelVue Adobe Preset.
STEP 6: Under OUTPUT FILE select your file name and rename according to PhillyCAM conventions, if you haven't already, in order to ensure your file does not become corrupted from renaming after completion.
STEP 7: Start the Conversion!
Click on the green ‘play button’ in the Queue window to begin your Queue.
You MUST contact the Programming Director (at email@example.com) upon the submission of this file.
- While the m2t is processing, a number of different files are created which PhillyCAM does not need - only deliver the .m2t file!
- View your .m2t file before submission. Make sure the running time is correct and the audio is in sync. Your .m2t program file can be viewed in VLC Media Player which is free to download for MAC and PC at www.videolan.org
- If this is the first episode of your Series, or a one time Special, please submit the necessary signed Program Submission form with your .m2t file in the drop-off bin.
