This Friday, November 8, 2019, at 6 pm/et, Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman will co-moderate the first-ever Presidential Forum on Environmental Justice. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker and other presidential candidates will take part in the forum at South Carolina State University.

The forum, hosted by leaders from frontline and tribal communities — including civil rights, youth, and environmental organizations — will include discussion on how presidential hopefuls intend to manage the impacts of climate change on the communities on the front lines of the climate crisis. Mustafa Ali, former Environmental Protection Agency official who focused on environmental justice and community revitalization, will co-moderate the forum. 


Democracy Now will broadcast the forum Friday, Nov. 8 starting at 6 p.m. eastern.
