Live Culture Presents Tyner and Timmons: The Philadelphia Jazz Tap Ensemble  April 23, 2021 7 pm
Friday, April 23, 2021 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

 

As part of the city's Jazz Appreciation Month celebration, Live Culture presents The Philadelphia Jazz Tap Ensemble, Tyner and Timmons (TNT). The performance blends tap dance, jazz music, original poetry, and "vocussion". 

The hour-long concert also includes two recent pieces s by artistic director, Pamela Hetherington: “Blue Rondo ALT,”  inspired by the classic Dave Brubeck composition, and “Rolling Down a Hill,” which is set to an original composition by bassist Jim Donica.
