PhillyCAM's Virtual Radio Orientation is for members who would like to learn how to get involved with WPPM 106.5 FM, develop Radio Special programming and understand the process to apply for a Regular Series radio show.
We will discuss the spirit of community radio, how our station came to be, as well as how program ideas can be developed and pitched while aligning with PhillyCAM's Mission and WPPM's Guiding Principles. We'll also cover our community radio station's noncommercial operations, commitment to localism, committee structure and opportunities for volunteerism/collaboration.
This is a VIRTUAL event and the Zoom link will be shared with participants day-of via email.
