PhillyCAM is looking to hire a Youth Radio instructor to support the production of “Hear Us Out”, a youth-led, biweekly radio program on WPPM 106.5 FM. Through weekly classes, youth learn audio production and journalism skills. Using collaborative decision-making youth participants gain insight on how group questioning and discussion can lead to community solutions and action. Past show themes have discussed mental health, sex education, and commodification. Past shows can be found at https://soundcloud.com/phillycam/sets/hear-us-out-phillycam-youth.

The Instructor will work with a small cohort of youth radio producers to offer remote training, facilitation, and production support for their bi-monthly 30 minutes live radio show, “Hear Us Out.”
