PhillyCAM welcomes its summer interns, (left to right) Michael Hearn, Zaina Sesay and Matt Merin. Since the beginning of July, they have hit the ground running and are currently producing a series of how-to production videos that feature technical and creative tips for PhillyCAM producers, public service announcements for PhillyCAM organization members such as Prometheus Radio Project and short topic-driven videos in collaboration with Philadelphia's Next Great City initiative.
Michael Hearn is a recent graduate from Temple University's Film and Media Arts program where he gained experience in working as a producer on various student productions and became well versed in a variety of digital video editing systems. Zaina Sesay is a rising junior also majoring in Film and Media Arts at Temple University but has actively produced media since high school. Before starting her internship at PhillyCAM, she attended YouTube's Creator Institute at the University of Southern California where she learned about new trends in social media video distribution. Matt Merin is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he majored in English & Film Media. With a unique interest in non-profit administration and media production, Matt is working to support PhillyCAM membership services while also helping with the other internship production projects. Stay tuned to learn more about the great work of these interns!
