John and Jon'avin Freeman, November Members of the Month

"We've have been members of PhillyCAM since June 2023. Since the very first day we've entered PhillyCAM our goals have been to learn as much as possible and to connect with the PhillyCAM community. Since joining PhillyCAM, we have participated in the Introduction to Studio Crew: Bootcamp Version, Basic Field Production, AV Booth Training, Intro to Radio as well as currently being in the Premiere Pro class. We also participated in the Collaborative Filmmaking Challenge which was extremely fun for us because our film 'Off Beat' and the soundtrack which is currently out on all platforms is doing amazing numbers on Youtube right now.

With that being said, we are so grateful to have been accepted and embraced by the PhillyCAM community. We only plan to go upwards from here by incorporating more of the knowledge and connections that we have gathered along the way at PhillyCAM."

In Jon'avin's spare time he is a singer - songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. He has produced for himself and many upcoming artists in Philadelphia such as: Verbosity, NR Bor and Miguel Ducos. He has also mixed the audio for Ryan Saunders upcoming documentary on the steel drums.

In John's spare time he has spent many hours perfecting his camera operating skills by working on various projects such as a short film with Janiyah Henley and her production company "Harley J Productions" which is currently in its editing phase right now.
