Krissy Mahan (she/they) was born in Camden and lives in South Philly. Community access television/radio was one of the only places for young queers to get national information during the 1980/90s AIDS years, and to see the joy and creativity of queer people. That inspired an abiding love and respect for community media.
Mahan makes DIY movies about and for the Philly area and enjoys showing them on dykeumentaryTV on Sunday evenings. Mahan supports BDS.
