Join our supportive and collaborative environment of youth media makers! Learn how to communicate your thoughts and ideas by using video and audio to create high-quality content for multiple platforms.
Our youth powered media classes offer best practices for filming, editing and audio production while helping you build a new creative community and your artistic portfolio. Our classes are awesome for youth who want to work in television or radio but don’t know where to start.

Love To Love You Youth Workshop (Dec 2 & 4th, 2025)
We’re excited to invite you to Love to Love You, a creative storytelling and mixed media workshop led by teaching artist Mx. Tea (they/she). This workshop invites students to explore who they are through writing, voice, and creative reflection.
In a space that welcomes every identity, students explore writing, storytelling, and public speaking to discover confidence and creative voice. Their final audio piece becomes both a personal archive and a threshold for growth.
Write and tell your story // Build confidence in your voice // Learn to edit and document your work // Create in a safe, inspiring space // Develop skills for school, art, and life.
The workshop will take place in person on Dec 2nd and Dec 4th at PhillyCAM, 699 Ranstead St. Philadelphia, PA 19106
No experience necessary, just bring a willingness to try new things and be yourself!

PhillyCAM’s Hear Us Out program is a youth-produced live radio show and podcast that gives young people the chance to be the voices shaping the airwaves. Over eight months, participants will learn audio editing, storytelling, interviewing, and sound design, while also helping to run social media and behind-the-scenes content.
This isn’t just training — youth producers will host, produce, and broadcast their own segments on PhillyCAM TV and WPPM 106.5 FM, gaining real professional experience while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Participants receive a stipend for their work and become part of a community of young creatives, activists, poets, and storytellers.
Who Can Apply: Youth ages 13–21
Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, Oct 15 – May 28 | 5–7PM
