Terazah Wilkins, March Member of the Month

I am a multimedia producer located outside of the Philadelphia area. At PhillyCAM, I've had the privilege to work on some truly inspiring projects. One of my highlights has been collaborating with Love Now Media on their dynamic youth podcast "Dinner w/Friends" This podcast serves as a platform for young voices to discuss topics they experience in their generation, from the latest fashion trends to sexual education and connecting intergenerationally within the community.

I've also had the pleasure of partnering with the city's Office of Violence Prevention to create the "I Know Your Name" podcast. Through this work, we highlighted and humanized individuals often overlooked or marginalized in society by sharing their stories and experiences with gun violence and harm reduction programs throughout Philadelphia and across the country.

In addition to my project work, I've also had the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise through teaching workshops at PhillyCAM. I've led workshops on Audio Field Production and Podcast Production, teaching practical skills and techniques to empower other creatives in executing their projects. I am passionate about storytelling and using media for social change. I believe in the power of community-driven narratives like those at PhillyCAM that amplify diverse voices and create a more inclusive and empathetic society.
