Warren Longmire, April Member of the Month

I first worked with PhillyCAM as host of the Moonstone's Who Do You Love live broadcast from 2014-2015. It was an amazing introduction to the range of resources PhillyCAM provided and the possibilities of Public-access television to facilitate the building of the local arts community. That show facilitated great discussions between various poets from the Philadelphia scene and was a joy to help produce.

More recently, PhillyCAM hosted a live filming of my most recent work, Bird/Diz [An Erased History of Bebop]. Under the direction and editing of Antoine Haywood and production by Moonstone and 5onthego, a stage show of the work, I expanded into an hour-long multi-media experience that opened my eyes to what was possible using very accessible community resources. I am excited and honored to be officially a part of the PhillyCAM family,  and I look forward to being a part of more projects with them in the future.
