Happy 30th Birthday Moonstone!
City wide celebrations of activists who struggled to make the U.S. live up to the promise of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness for everyone. These four discussions honor the 200th birthday of Martin R. Delany, considered the father of Black Nationalism, publisher of one of the first Black Newspapers and one of the first Blacks admitted to Harvard Medical School and the first Black officer in the Union Army.
Fridays in March at 7pm

These programs are presented by Moonstone Arts Center, a non-profit whose mission is to stimulate communication and education in the community across traditional lines of separation such as ethnicity, age, gender etc.
