Villager tells the story and point-of-view through a young boy's eyes. He lives in an educational desert and does poorly in school because he lacks the resources needed for him to succeed, this includes art which is his only form of expression to the outside world. He is a wonderful artist drawing his references from street art, graffiti, and murals. He continues to be reprimanded for his poor grades by his teachers in class and is unsure where to go, so after a parent-teacher conference, he walks to the park and stumbles across his mentor he never knew he needed who is a street artist.
