Community reporters examine the local impact of politics & culture on communities with underrepresented perspectives, inspiring greater civic engagement for an empowered, equitable & just Phila

This month, our show features stories on a behind-the-scenes look at the Philadelphia stables that inspired the movie “The Concrete Cowboy", Philadelphians share how the Pandemic has made them better-- one year later, and how Philly skate groups are trying to make sure everyone knows they have a space in the skateboarding community regardless of gender, age, race, or sexuality. We also sit down with Reverend Dr. Donna L. Jones in the virtual studio to talk about how Healing Circles are helping some Youth put the guns down. Hosted by Amanda Johnson. Recorded June 7, 2021.
