Philadelphia Jazz Project’s Community Conversations

Philadelphia Jazz Project

Philadelphia Jazz Project’s Community Conversations bring together a broad range of professionals, educators, informed laypersons and the general public to discuss pertinent cultural topics. Hosted by Homer Jackson, the process is informal and the audience is encouraged to engage in dialogue on equal footing with our special guests.

The first dialogue is entitled Bright Moments. This title is taken from a song by Jazz legend Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Bright Moments are special experiences that trigger fond memories. In this discussion between musicians, writers, producers and music lovers, we share our most memorable musical moments and talk about the music we love and why we love the music. Recorded at the PhillyCAM studio.

Sundays in April at 7pm
