Summer Lost: Stopping the Slide

Philadelphia  Public School Notebook presents

A series of short videos about a Summer learning loss problem that contributes to low literacy rates: Summer Slide is a nationwide phenomenon that causes children with too much downtime over Summer vacation to lose reading skills and damages the future career success of 90,000+ children ages 5-9
